The Gates, Project for Central Park.
 No matter the season there is always something special happening in New York City.
This February, artists Jeanne-Claude and Christo will install a temporary public outdoor work of art called The Gates, Project for Central Park. The work will consist of 7,500 saffron-colored fabric panels (that are 16' high) placed at 12-foot intervals throughout 23 miles of pedestrian walkways in Central Park. The Gates will be unfurled Saturday, February 12, and will remain up through the end of the month, February 28.
To celebrate the project, Beyond Times Square is offering a special package for those who want to experience the mix of art and environment up close.
