The Nomadic Museum is a 45,000 square-foot temporary building made from shipping containers, and giant cardboard tubes houses 'Ashes and Snow', an exhibition of large-scale photographic works by artist Gregory Colbert. It is located on Pier 54 adjacent to the Meatpacking District on Manhattan's lower West Side. The exhibition of more than 200 large-scale photographs and an accompanying 35mm film captures extraordinary moments of contact between man and animals and will be on display through June 6, 2005. |
